A community economy
Build Local Value. Make Useful Purchases.
Put community skills and resources behind businesses that meet local needs, then make a payment to an active DAO business in the app. Alongside business checkout, published offers connect eligible EQTBLT with goods, services and access within the participating network.
The ambition is practical: members help create community value, and that recognition can support useful activity close to home. Businesses gain a way to take part in the same network, with defined terms and a record of what was paid and delivered.

Review the payment choices
The sample form shows configured payment choices before an amount or purpose is entered. No payment was submitted or completed.
The record connects the contribution to its use
Contribution EQTBLT records recognized work after the required review and confirmed payment. Rent rebate EQTBLT records a different source: qualifying rent under its own terms. The dashboard keeps those sources distinct so members can understand what they hold and what they can use.
Tokens provide a tracking method for these records and their authorized movement. The useful question for a member is what an eligible balance can do: which offer is available, what it costs, who delivers it and what happens next.
A submitted task or donated tool is not automatically a paid EQTBLT award. Contribution terms, review and payment still matter. Nor does an EQTBLT balance by itself grant legal ownership of a home or business.
From a balance to a useful offer
- See what you hold. The spending screen separates Contribution EQTBLT and Rent rebate EQTBLT and shows the amounts available to your account.
- Explore published offers. An offer names the good, service or access, its price, the required EQTBLT type and who delivers it. Possible categories include housing-related uses, commercial space, shared spaces and network goods or services; actual choices depend on what is open and offered.
- Check the terms before paying. The app explains restrictions such as a closed category, insufficient eligible EQTBLT or an inactive business. Some housing-related uses require older EQTBLT; that condition does not apply to every purchase.
- Confirm and follow the result. Members authorize the eligible payment and follow its confirmation. A receipt identifies what was paid for and records delivery separately, so a payment is not mistaken for the completed service.
Build businesses from community capacity
A neighborhood has needs, and its members bring skills, tools and ideas that can help meet them. The aim is to turn that capacity into useful DAO-created businesses: places that make, repair, supply or serve, connected to the people and projects around them.
For example, a repair service could connect members with practical skills, shared equipment and neighbors who need things fixed. That is an illustrative business possibility, not an existing business announcement. The opportunity is to organize resources around a real local need rather than treat every contribution as an isolated task.
The app supports named DAO business units with an assigned manager, an operating status, configured payment options and payment records. Authorized operators create and administer those units. The manager can request spending from settled proceeds for a stated purpose, while a separate operator handles the payout. Starting the real business still takes an agreed plan, people and operating resources.
Make a purchase in the app
Members can pay an active DAO business through its page in the dashboard. This is a direct business payment, alongside the separate catalogue of priced EQTBLT offers.
- Choose the business. Open its details and check that it is taking payments. Confirm the goods or service and agreed price with the business.
- Choose an available payment option. The app shows the configured choices, which can include USDC, BLTBY or eligible EQTBLT. Enter the amount and what the payment is for. Only the options actually offered there apply.
- Review and authorize. Follow the wallet request and payment confirmation. The app records your payment against the named business; a submitted transaction is followed through to its confirmed result.
- Keep the record. Follow your own receipt and any applicable refund deadline or request. Business payments are held through their refund period before becoming settled proceeds the business can use.
For catalogue offers, the published terms name the item or service, price and delivering party, with a separate delivery status. Direct business checkout records the amount and purpose you enter; it is not a shopping cart or an automatic confirmation that an item has been delivered.
Bring local and DAO businesses into the picture
A community needs places that make, repair, supply and serve. The platform distinguishes DAO-operated business units from registered partner businesses. Their payment options and operating terms are configured for the particular business; appearing in a directory does not mean every EQTBLT or token is accepted everywhere.
For a member, that means checking a real offer or business payment option rather than guessing where EQTBLT work. For a participating business, named payment records and delivery responsibilities make the relationship more accountable. Business settlement and any partner conversion arrangement follow their own approved terms.
The broader goal is to connect local demand with local capability: useful work supports the community, and participating businesses help turn recognized contribution into things people can use. Local value circulation is the goal. Participating businesses and current offers determine what members can use today.
Different records do different jobs
EQTBLT is the closed-loop EQTBLT record used for contribution and Rent rebate EQTBLT. BLTBY is a separate transferable utility token. Private investment interests are separate again. They are not interchangeable balances, and spending EQTBLT does not create a general right to cash redemption.
The value of this system depends on real contributions, usable offers and reliable delivery. Access and offerings remain limited while the web launch is prepared.
